New 1:64 Hotwheels, F430 Spider and 512M

Got some FRESH new HW to add to the collection last night, will take some pics when I get home

 

Aston DBS in blue, AE86 Toyota Corolla, Hotwheels Camaro Special Edition, '70 Toyota Celica, ZR1, Enzo, and Careers GT in red, and Cadillac Sixteen Concept. Picked up a few older cars as well recently but nothing hugely special

 

Found the '70 Celica today... badass little car!

 

Wow, I think I've only found about 30-40 or so Ferraris so far in my hunting

 

I lost my drive for collecting. I was also thinking of selling them off, but decided to keep them - not sure why, they won't go up in value, maybe I'll give them to my nephew when he is old enough.

 

I would be willing to bet the kids that crashed their redlines back in the late 60's didn't think their cars would ever have any value either... Just sayin

 

I'm still collecting, got the blue DBS, '70 Celica, the Boulevard F40 and the Initial D Tofu Shop Hachi Roku recently...

I'm hoping 2013's lineup includes the MP4-12C, the F12, the new Vanquish, Aventador roadster and the 918...

 

Anyone in NYC over the holidays, the Times Square Toys R Us Hot Wheels sections was very well stocked, picked up the Vector and they seemed to have anything alese I could think of.

 

The F12 is in the 2013 release. I got one on the weekend.

I gotta find that for my kids Christmas stocking. It's the only Ferrari he likes, I'm sick of finding him Aventadors etc.

 

Roommate just came home and handed me the 2013 Porsche 918 Spyder. It is a very nice casting! I'll post a pic in a little while.

It's a 612...just got it at Target, $4.99 for the set.

 

Just got the F12 and I'm disappointed. I actually thought it was an FF on the peg, until I caught the bottom of the card.

The rear end is vague in detail and the grill seems overlarge out front.

Also grabbed the Lamborghini LP570 Superleggera in bright orange, best color for this car so far. I can't believe that Hot Wheels has given us Gallardos in 11 colors since '09...

Just on a whim hit a couple Walmarts yesterday and found these two. First hunts I've found since the death of the greens

 

i hate how you can barely tell they are hunts anymore...

 

I agree. Not only that but the cars themselves are nothing special and usually fairly lame. I loved seeing that green when hunting around because it really had meaning. I have heard, however, that more collectors are finding hunts on the pegs these days because the stockers don't know to just look for green.

 

Is the Black Aventador matte, or glossy?

 

I had an assignment for a class that I had to go to ToysRUs and examine the toys. I was going to pick up the F12 and a orange LP570-4 Gallardo Superleggera, but I didn't. The Aventador looks pretty cool, I kinda want it. Any more pictures of it?
