What do you guys think of Los Colinas? The office is out by the 114 and 35 (Alliance) and I don't want a 1 hour drive. I could also do Fort Worth but I don't know if it is too sleepy. How about Colleyville as a compromise? I will look at Southlake next week. Thanks again for the help.

Las Colinas is very nice and convenient to most anywhere in the metroplex. Several gated/guarded communities: The Enclave/Windsor Ridge, Cottonwood Valley, Hackberry Creek. Resort like atmosphere. I and many of my neighbors drive our golf carts to the store, gym, etc. Also easy to either airport and Norwoods is within 5 miles for all your automotive service needs. One thing to keep in mind however is the ground moves ALOT here so a home built on pier and beam is a must.

Highland Village on the lake is it for me. Country feel, downtown Dallas in 40 minutes and a 30,000+ acre lake in the back yard with the lowest crime rate in Texas last I saw a ranking.

My office is in Las Colinas. There are some great neighborhoods but there's also a Jr College nearby and just South of Las Colinas isn't a very good area. Theres also a lot of apartments nearby. I wouldn't live there.

For an office at Alliance Southlake, Westlake or Colleyville is where you need to be.
