Looks great in pictures, but would you really want to live in a glass box. The house has no view, so youre relying on foliage for some type of privacy, which is very different to having aglass wall overlooking abluff on the ocean. Then the house is all hard surfaces, not really a comfortable home type enviroment. As a garage its awesome.
I think that a house like that would be perfect if the property was completely surrounded by a high solid concrete wall.. and lots of trees/foliage within the compound so that you're not just looking at wall from within the house. Or, I like the idea of a urban/city house that is solid/privacy along the entire exterior... but has an interior courtyard... and the house facing that courtyard is all glass walls. Would work well for a lot that has no view of anything... you create your own view with the house itself.
I agree about the inner courtyard. But even with a concrete wall having glass exerior walls is cool for entertaining, but even sucbconciously youre sleeping exposed, works better on a two story house..
You're of course right, but it's beautiful! Then again, approaching your home in your car watching someone taking a s*** in the bathroom directly above the garage doesn't sound too appealing, either
