You really shouldn't buy a Cayman.

Buy a Boxster. Convertibles are awesome.

I recently bought this old thing and it gets way more attention from the popo than even the F40 at full throttle and I blame it squarely on the color. Yellow definitely attracts attention (and I don't believe there's any such thing as "good attention").

Thanks, bro. I am trying to keep the mini collection small but exceptional in terms of models and examples. I can't fit a bike in there though.

One of my favorite Ferrari in my favorite color for a Ferrari V12 two-seater. I just dont get how people don't like the yellow V12s. Every time I see a 550 in yellow my jaw just drops.
    Congratulations on this amazing acquisition.

Since this is the busiest Cayman thread, I thought I'd post the following Richard Meaden quote from evo #181:

Here's the www edition of the article (the video has been posted here before):

I have a bright yellow GT3 RS. And always have to obey the speed limit because I am the first person the cops want to pull over :(

Make sure you drive it first. A few weeks ago, I brought my beloved 07 Cayman S to a Porsche store 95% sure I'd trade it in. Then I drove one. The new one drives more like a luxury sedan. Sure the performance is there, but Porsche dialed out all the fun IMHO. I thought my car might feel like crap when I got back in but, instead, it felt so much livelier even in the parking lot my decision was easy. A huge disappointment really. I hope Porsche addresses these issues.

I'd be looking for used - 2007 or so, same as yours. I couldn't afford a new one :)

Well, they dialed out the fun in 1959 with wind-up windows and other sissy stuff, but the new ones are faster.

Yes, but have to consider resale - will someone else dig it?

I love it, just me though.
