John, Thank you, I remember this car well. I believe your Lusso is in this color. I prefer a blue that's a little darker with more metallic, but not quite as dark as Blu Sera. Blu Genziana has gray and green among it's blue base and that appeals to me. In the sun the color has a nice multi tone of color working and changes as you change the angle you're looking at it from. Geno
Wayne, Isn't that the color John V's car is? It's like a golden light tan. Has some silver hues also. What is that color called? I actually like it and it's always been an option. Geno
John, Would you mind posting a few pictures of your car and letting me know what the color is called. How would you best describe it in person? I believe your interior is saddle in color? Geno
John has stated before that the color is called grigio moderno. I've seen it in person (in Monterey several years ago), and to me, it looks like a silverish-green. A beautiful color that fits the PF Coupe well, in my opinion.
Hi Geno, my light green is nice, but IMO the color that suits this car best is the medium gray metallic. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47884622/Registry/Series_1/Pages/1201_GT.html#1 john Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
John, Your car looks outstanding! I was leaning toward a medium gray, but there are so many PFs in that color. Looking for some thing that's a little different. I think Grigio Moderno is a very classy color by the way. Can you post a few more pics of your car in various light sources? I appreciate the help. Geno
Thanks Geno, the color "Grigio Moderno" appears only once in this roster-- only in front of 1381GT: Build Sheets The car was made for US as it has English gauges and was sold new by the Atlanta Ferrari dealer, Donald Fong. It's obviously an attractive color and so I have always wondered why more cars weren't painted in that color-- or maybe there were others and the roster is inaccurate.
