...other problems arose!I like it.:)
...for that extra thrust needed to win, many drivers had their mechanic eat great amounts of gas-producing foods prior to the race....an early form of afterburner if you will....[however, other problems were in the air..]
I can't see the straps on the hood. And it is only fixed by it... Here is a bearing backward and it's open in front, so it can fly over.... For me, the mechanic is holding the hood... Sorry for my English...
"As his handbrake turn caused his rear tyre to overtake him, Giuseppe wondered how he would explain the impending damage to the insurance company." All the best, Andrew.
on a gp car the front hood [bonnet] strap is right at the very front edge...it is also very narrow..the line behind the radiator in the photo would appear to be too wide for a gap so i would assume the strap is in place and something else is going on....[ you are right that the hood hinge pin is fixed at the rear and lies in a slot at the radiator but the hood itself is a pretty heavy item..i have driven around in a t35 with the hood straps unfastened and not much moved...speaking of people on a bugatti hood can anyone post the photo of ms helle-nice on her hood for captions.....el wayne?????
