    Hello all,
i bought my 2002 360 Coupe 6 speed black/black last summer with 3000 miles, had the belts done and fresh service at dealer at 4k currently has 5k miles. About to trade it for a 430 coupe F1. I've always been drawn to gated cars, but I'm ready to take the plunge and get an F1. I found an 05 430 Black Black with 5500 miles, a lot of clutch left, Carbo brakes, OEM titanium color Challenge wheels (ordered with them) NO EXHAUST.
Also I'm looking at 07 Coupe 8200 miles, 48% clutch, carbon rear Black on CREAM (One of my favorites), OEM/stock 19" "plain" (my opinion) wheels, NO EXHAUST, carbo brakes.

Fairly simliar cars - but 2 years difference, newer one has more miles, less clutch, stock plain wheels, carbon rear. THe 05 has the better looking wheels, no carbon rear, more clutch less miles.

Has any one had any gremlins surface in their 05 since it was the first run year of the 430?

05 Asking is $136, getting them to go to 128
07 Asking is 150, so far at 148

    Thoughts.....

I've got an 07 F1 red/beige with 10,150 miles. Just reduced to $142k. All service records from the start. Except for some bumper rash that's not visible unless under the car, it's flawless.

The examples you posted are nice. Most similarly optioned cars fall within a small parameter of prices, unless the owner is being unrealistic.

Why would one by a car with out an exhaust?

The 07 has a newer, larger more robust F1 pump.

^^This one sounds like it is more than worth consideration.

I know right! Surprised someone hasn't jumped on it yet. The OP is 'local' too. I had to fly to San Fran for the damn thing. It's just about Spring time as well.

Have you listed the car on sites or just kicking the idea around on Fchat? I'm sure the spring temps will bring some activity. Whats next for you?

Interestingly similar to my experience. Went from an 02 360spider which I invested serious maintenace$ into to make it right to an 05 F430 coupe. No regrets. I loved the 360, but the F430 is so much more car on many levels.

Not sure what's next. Looked at a 996 and 997 GT2. Truly incredible machines. The 458 is a possibility, still a bit pricey. Not quite sold on the looks yet either. I may also just make the step down to a 997 Carrera and use it more often. Only putting 5000 miles on in three years makes the cash outlay vs usage equation pretty high. I rather get a car and drive it all the time. I'm looking to get a 3 pedal car however (takes the 458 out of the group). Also considering going full track car- Z06, Porsche Cup...

So yea, sort of all over the place :D

I love the 430 but its time to switch. I know that a Porsche won't make the same sounds and overall experience. Had 2 in the past. Much simpler cars all around.

I've got an 05 430 - bought it with 5k miles on it. Had it for 1 year, no major issues and put 5k miles on it. Just did an annual service on it and car came back clean!

I had Porsches for years, many of them, 993, Boxster S, 993 Turbo, 997 Turbo, great cars, not an F car but Porsches are just solid, practical and fun to own. I look forward to the 991 "Tri Turbo", thats going to be an amazing car. Perhaps a 991 GT3 will be the perfect car for you? Many have said once you have a Ferrari its hard to not have one...I am afraid I am stuck with the horse. I think my next step is a 458, but not till they drop to the $200,000 to $225,000 range, its coming, maybe not for awhile, but its coming
