    East coast and west coast..... great drive, meet, and Stone Crabs in Everglades City!

    Date: Saturday, March 9th
    Destination: Triad Seafood in Everglades City

    East Coast:
    Meeting at 9am (leaving at 9:30 sharp!), at the Gas Station in Weston at the I75 and Indian Trace exit. (Exit just west of the I595/I75/Sawgrass interchange). We will take the beautiful Tamiami Trail across the state to get there. For anyone coming from Miami, we will make a quick stop at the gas station at Chrome and Tamiami at 10.

    West Coast:
    Meeting at the Sam's club parking lot off Airport Road at 10:30am (leaving at 11:00 sharp!)

    Triad Seafood is a quaint, family owned restaurant that is right on the water. They have other items on the menu besides stone crabs, so there's something for everyone!

    All enthusiasts are welcome! Separate checks for lunch. To ensure proper reserved seating at the restaurant, PLEASE RSVP to Fred Burton at FDBFINSVC@aol with the number of people coming.

    Sorry Margaret and I can not make it - we will be in the Keys- fortunately a good friend of mine owns a fish house so the stone crabs are no problem but we will miss all your smiling faces

    Due to some construction on Tamiami, the east coast will take I75 over.....therefore, no stop at chrome and tamiami, so please all meet in weston.

    We had about 60+ people from the east and west coast at lunch today!!

    What a fantastic drive, too!!!

    Is it right that our fearless leader was without his trusty steed for an official club event? Is the Stradale now a "garage queen"? Sorry I missed this great event, thanks again to Fred for making another great social event for us all to enjoy. I wold have been there but I was beating the daylights out of my car (997) at Homestead. Hope to see you all soon. Wish me luck, the 360's going in for her major service on Weds.
