My elise had a valve dump ... and need a major repair (many other issues as well). I sent it to BOE in Kansas city for some upgrades and did they ever do it right:

Check it out: BOE Fabrication - Lotus Elise, Exige, and Evora Performance ECM Tuning Products

This car will now fly past my 360 like it is going backwards. The best dyno run "glory run" had the car just over 335whp ... 1800lbs ... extreme!

Here is a list of mods:

BOE modified turbo elise with GT28R, short block, JCR head with Ferrea valves, Cosworth head gasket, IC, brake upgrade, Quaiffe Limited Slip Diff & Act Street Clutch, Cyn-r-g segmented flywheel, aluminum pro-rad, custom stainless exhaust w/ tubular turbo manifold, EFI tuned race ECU, upgraded fuel system w/ 750cc injectors, HID beams, Venture shield, carbon fibre splitter & rear custom diffuser, fuel ratio & boost gauge, clam hinge, tail BOV, K&N intake, XS boost controller, & much more.

Once you have seen the website and pics ... you'll understand why I have removed the methane injection system ... not good with the aluminum block

    Very cool.
You need to race with us in LotusCupUSA!
335 rwhp is crazy fast. I'm curious what you did to the tranny? As you know this is the weakest link in our cars.

No ... no tranny mods. I will cross that bridge when needed, but with Quaiffe Limited Slip Diff & Act Street Clutch + Cyn-r-g segmented flywheel it should limit the impact forces on the tranny.
I am not a dump and run guy ... and only track once in a blue moon. I am betting that I'll want to go more though now.

A tranny is the weakest link in any car!:D

But seriously, great looking car...somewhat of a sleeper, if you will. :D

I like the clam shell of the rear, looks awesome. Does that save any weight, or is it just easier to work on if need be?

The car is already the light weight ... no power windows ... etc... sports pac. The clam shell hinge is just for ease of repair and show.

I do like the video link of one of the dyno runs ... the turbo just sound great

Just because it's already light weight doesn't mean you can't shed more pounds. :D

Have you thought about doing a Supercharger/Turbo system like Ronin (Frank) did? His car was a beast, can't wait to see his car after the 2 Eleven design.

Oh wow, those are really good numbers! To be honest, I wasn't expecting that much torque from that motor.

I was impressed by the torque numbers as well. But what is really surprising is that when the lack of a drop off in power at the switchover (6kish rpms) and then the constant rise in power until about redline. I thought the GT28R would have run out of steam before that.
