To answer your question, I quoted my reply above.

We were told about as last minute as you could be , that they wanted us to bring a couple cars out. Those were the cars that we could allow to be away from the showroom for 5 days. Cars sell when they are for sale, not when they are tied up in the back corner, in a postage stamp sized area w/ barriers around them.

As for the " unimportant " comment, my immediate answer is that all potential clients are important as are the enthusiest who just come by to kick tires, ask questions, and learn more about Ferrari ( And Maserati ) but more often than not, the people walking through are none of the above.

Ferrari / Maserati and the others you listed are not sold at a car show. They are 9 times out of 10 sold to exsisting clients, referrals by clients, or the super informed buyer who's been researching their car for weeks to months. The impulse " I want THAT car right now " buyer doesn't usually show up at the Dallas car show. BUT if they did, I'm sure we would find a way to get the car out for them... < wink >

Boardwalk Ferrari host many events every year, which the " event season " is just starting, you'll have a much better chance at seeing the cars you are wanting to see at one of those events.

The show was pretty decent. Ferrari may have been a bit underrepresented with a California, but some presence is better than none. Besides, it was yellow, and it looks great in that color! It was a nice change from the usual red/silver/black I see all the time.

Other notables included the Ford Atlas concept, the Chevy SS, Volvo C30 Polestar, Mercedes CLA Class, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, and the Camaro Hot Wheels concept. There was also a '54 Vette in the Corvette club section.

The show was alright. The new vanquish and F-type weren't bad. It's a shame BW was only given a tiny spot for 3 brands.
I like how Cadillac and dodge would let you go joy ride their cars. I saw one get pulled over :p
It's just a bunch of normal cars with a few fun ones sprinkled in. Pretty much what you would expect.
