    That looks great!

Yep, I agree he does great work & I originally reached out to Brett but he was just overwhelmed and estimated I would get my helmet in 3+ months at the soonest.

Alex at Alive design is almost done with my helmet :) will post up pics once I get it back!

I'll throw a nod to Savage Designs in Florida. Mike Savage was a great guy to work with - but I think any helmet painter you use is going to be slow. When I called around last year prior to choosing Mike, most were quoting 2-3 months. I had a chrome base applied to mine which added a couple of extra weeks to the process. I would suggest allowing ample time between when you say you need it, and when you ACTUALLY need it back. Attached is the photo of what Savage did for me. Chrome base and highlights don't show up well in the photo.

That looks stunning! Mine had to make a trip to the chromers as well, it has taken awhile longer and fortunately I have a spare cheapo bell helmets which I used last weekend.

I had the same expectation as you as well; if they told me 2-3 months I anticipated 4-5 months actual :)

Sweet! The chrome base works wonders....i know how you're feeling. When i got mine i had to look at it every 10 minutes for the first few days.

Glad it worked out well for you with Alex.

    Looks like a good scheme.

Certainly worth a tenth or two of a second a lap!

    Cheers,

Thanks for the recommendation!! I let him know you referred me too. I picked it up at his shop a day before the track meet and could smell the clear coat fumes while sitting on the plane.

He really did a great job and was very accomodating with my time situation.
