Very possible John. I have seen and sat in this car when I bought mine. The side vents are in the right place as you can see here :

    http://web.mac.com/ferrari250pfcoupe/iweb/250%20PF%20Coupe%20/1827.html

This poor car was a bit fo a basket case when I saw it. It looked like it was heading for repro TDF or Cal Spyder land to me...so if it has been saved we should all rejoice (but sad to say I can't believe it was economically viable) !

    Cheers

    Darren.

Here, very rare pictures of 0841GT taken on the Golf de Biarritz in 1983, after having been restored in Italy in 1982.
Its owner, Xavier R. of Biarritz had bought 0841GT in Toulouse in 1981 and sold it in 1985 in Bordeaux (France).
Xavier R. had participated in the Meeting of the Mas du Clos at Mr Bardinon with the Club Ferrari France in 1984 !

I am looking for any information on 0841GT.

Due to the limited information on 0841GT, there were many errors written !

0841GT has participated in the Mas du Clos in 1984 with his owner Xavier R. Biarritz registered in France 6443 RN 64.

For information, 0843GT was never at Mas du Clos, it is an error written in the magazine Club Ferrari France in 1984 on page 39 (text of Mr Coquet).

    Hi John.

Back in 2007 you posted a photograph possibly showing 1827GT and Darren Jaffrey responded stating that it quite likely was the same car.

I'd be very interested to find out in what year the photograph was taken and if you have any other ones - also, do you have any even older photos of 1827GT please?

I have recently purchased this car - which is currently being restored and I am trying to establish the origin of the wing vents.

It seems that both Ferrari and Pininfarina do not have accurate records from this period; I have also been in touch with Marcel Massini, but so far am having some difficulty in establishing their provenance.

I am trying to locate any early photograhs of the car that I can, in order to try and prove the originality of the vents.

Any information or guidance that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Mark

    Kare,

    Thanks for your reply.

My problem remains the same though! If anyone has any information that might help - photographs really, of 1827GT from a long time ago, or any other guidance - it would be greatly appreciated.
