I wonder if anybody has attempted the above? What would be involved and is it theoretically possible? How much would it cost? I know of somebody converting his 430 to a scud and it appears to be possible if you spend enough.

the only two reasons for doing this I can think of are 1. manual 360 to CS 2. convertible 360 to CS. otherwise, get a CS. It will be less expensive and time consuming.
Would costs many multiples of the current 430 vs Scud market price delta and you end up with what, a clone? That has to be the silliest thing I've heard in a while. And, I am highly skeptical that someone has done it 100%. Maybe some cosmetic stuff, but the engine? The CF panels inside and out would be many tens of thousands...same for the suspension.
