The background of that one looks eastern european. When I first saw it I though, "Who took a picture of their 308 at Chernobyl?!?"
Originally re-built in 1982 adding the Keonig wide body, aero dynamics, interior and wing. Car only had 900 miles on it at the time. Makes a nice bookend with my 16M. I'll try to attach a pic with the wing also. A excellent example of the excesses of the 80's, but I love the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are brave posting a Koenig Specials. Don't you know the Ferrari "purist" Police will get you? Here's pictures of my Koenig with original BBS wheels and new Work wheels. Well at least we will be in good company when they hang us...lol. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Both of these are considered automobiles, but that is where the similarities end. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This one is not mine but I think it is the finest example of a Koenig. I am trying to make mine look like it. I have the wheels and the clear turn signal lens. I have the fiberglass euro bumpers that I am having painted red and I am going to lose the ridiculous turbo intake and wing that came on mine. It depended on what you ordered from the factory. You had options for different pistons, cams, and turbos depending on your budget. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hot top: Where did you get the wheels depicted on the red car? Mine has 18 inch Budnicks cut for it in 1982 in California but they are beginning to get abit pitted on the inside. I agree with you as to the beauty of the red car, but the wheels look outstanding. Here's some more photos of mine. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you are talking about my Koenig. They are 18" x 12" Work wheels with 315/30ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires on the rear and 18" x 8" on the front. I ordered them through Discount Tire. Total costs for wheels/tires were $5,000. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that the same car in both of your pictures in your original post? My wife likes the lower picture but doesn't think the first picture is of the same car
There are three pictures in post #1032. All those are my car just with different wheels. In post #1035, that is another Koenig which is not mine. However I am working towards making mine look like the one in post #1035.
