    Hello

When I turn the headlights on they keep cycling up and down continuously. I checked the diode and they seem to be OK. Could it be a relay? Is there a cheap option to the relays?
The arm for the right light is broken and I am fabricating a new one. But the lights should act independently shouldn’t they? Just because the arm is missing from one side would not keep the light motors running? Does the diode trip the relay for each side independently?

Just got the car and going through the problems one at a time.

    Thanks
    David

    Hello

Changed the relay and got the lights to come up and stop and go down and stop but of course now the lights don't work. Looking for fuses!

Check over in the Mondial section, someone just recently had (and resolved) the same issue ---- there's a thread on it.

And several in the 308/328 section - its a very common problem usually solved by removing & reseating relays
