Not at all liar, I usually check out the watch section as VTC has some nice watches every now and then.

This thread jinked my memory and I thought I'd let others know what other liars look like, don't like others knowing you're a liar then get over yourself and do what any MAN would have done when called out by TWO mods and myself about your lies.

Your call, but I think we all know how "manly" you are .

You're the one that wanted the thread locked AND deleted, I was happy to have it locked but I asked for it to not be deleted because people like you always suffer selective memory loss and hope time is on your side and you will get away with being the child you are and repeat the lies again, well not with me boyo, I'll keep referring to that thread EVERYTIME you get out of line and there's NOTHING you can do about it ..... until you grow a pair and apologise like a man ....... hell and iceskates come to mind but that's fine, I'll enjoy reminding you of being caught out lying :)

How about you two go natter in a different thread - THIS one is about texasmr2 and his attempt to sell a fake Rolex. He's the one, with respect to this thread, that still has to man up and explain what he was trying to pull. Why not go after him in every thread outside this section where he posts?

That would be cyberstalking and cyberbulling. Although not against the law in most places it certainly isn't good for business.

I wouldn't actually recommend that path, and I don't see anyone here hassling texasmr2 about his Rolex scam in the other forum sections. My comment to moretti was made because moretti admitted that this is exactly what he's doing for SRT Mike in the post above mine, where he wrote: "I'll keep referring to that thread EVERYTIME you get out of line and there's NOTHING you can do about it ..... until you grow a pair and apologise like a man ....... hell and iceskates come to mind but that's fine, I'll enjoy reminding you of being caught out lying"

Honestly, back on the topic of Gregg and his Rolex issue, I'm pretty disappointed that he's chosen to hide and pretend this thread doesn't exist. For someone who frequently posts about his strong moral beliefs and integrity, this has been a real eye opener. I agree with those who suggest that maybe Gregg is embarrassed by his mistake in assuming what was almost certainly a fake Rolex was real, but the way he has handled the aftermath demonstrates a real lack of integrity.

A necessary step toward resolution, which will, shall we say, be forthcoming.

So, after much back and forth behind the scenes between John, myself, and a couple of extremely patient moderators, I think we have reached an amicable resolution.

First off, I posted in a prior thread that John had been fired as a moderator. I did not intend it to be as hurtful as it was taken, however after discussing it with some cooler heads and after hearing John’s feelings on the matter (which he might be amazed to hear that I did actually read and did my best to understand :) ), I realize it upset him quite a bit – certainly beyond my intent. And as such, I apologize to John for saying it without doing more due diligence on the accuracy of the comment. I may have butted heads with him once or twice….(ok, a lot more than once or twice), but it is never my goal to cause anyone ‘real world’ grief based on anything said online. I really do wish John (and everyone else, even those I may argue with) the best outside of f-chat.

Part of the resolution reached was that John was putting me on ignore and it was suggested I do the same. I’ve decided not to do that. Not because I have any desire to continue the arguing, but rather because I am slightly proud of the fact that I do not have a single person on ignore and never have put anyone on ignore. I also remember about 6 years ago when we had made amends after a previous round of bickering, and although it obviously did not last, I think we would both agree with Ben Franklin’s quote that “There was never a good war or a bad peace”. I would prefer to try than not to try. Perhaps, in time, even a vegemite joke.

Anyway, that’s it! All the best to John, and sorry for anyone who was hoping for more drama :)

Geezus Mike, that's twice in a month. Your slipping pal! :D No, it's good very good for the karma/soul etc...

I was a bit surprised to see the animosity directed at you. Your a good natured guy that likes to "push the envelope" as we say, but all in good fun. All the time. I believe that 100%.

Your count is low. I bet. :D

You realize that if you do have kids one day, your in for karma hell. They will give it back to you in spades. You heard it here first!

    Cheers!

    Mike,

I accept your apology and I'd like to thank Yin for brokering the peace deal.

I don't need drama on the net, got plenty in real life.

Thank you both for being agreeable to a fair and reasonable resolution to the matter.

I think all that needs to be said, has been said. Thread closed.
