When I saw the first few photos of this car at the beginning of this thread, I thought what a great looking car. Just needs assembling, etc.

Since then the car has had a most impressive and professional restoration, with no nut or bolt left without attention, and the end result will be as good as any GTO or TR restoration and what a wonderful colour that enhances the sportiness and style of the GTE.

Looking forward to the next updates!

    Martin,

You a correct the trumpets should be a "Candy Red" if you send me a pm I will give you the information as to the correct color and paint.

    Otherwise...Bravo !!

I haven't seen anyone work with lead filler in years but the result is superb.

    In one word - FANTASTIC.

This has got to be one of the best threads seen on Fchat in years.

Really looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Martin - Do you have a brand name an/or supplier for that noise insulation pad? I have been looking for something with a texture pattern to replace some original in my Boxer.

    Hi Bob,

I am using product Teroson - Terodem SP 300
They came four sheets in one pack. I'll cover also the floor, the rear wall and the trunk with same isolation. To the roof and inside the doors is going to be another product.

    Martin
