    Thanks! Same to you!

It's been a little while since I've visited this thread. Love the new pics! Your car is beautiful! I especially like the post in which you made that teenager's day! That was very cool of you! He'll remember that day for the rest of his life for sure!

I'm glad to see that you're enjoying your car to the fullest! It has surely found a good home! I'm sure your Mondial must be getting a bit jealous with all of the attention that you've been giving the Countach lately though. Haha!

I just cannot take the Countach out yet. Somehow, I think it cannot be good for a exotic to get rapidly warmed up from subfreezing temperatures at what, 3000 rpm for a few minutes, drive for only 15 minutes, cool back down to near freezing, and then do it again to get back home, when it's 34 degrees out. That cannot be good for any old exotic.

The Mondi on the other hand. I have no worries taking my Mondial cab to C&C in 34 degree weather. Somehow, to me at least, driving my cabriolet seems less crazy than doing it with the Countach. I am sooo tired of winter.

Nice car Jay. I like white interiors. Not the easiest color to maintain but I always found it sharp. Is your car white /white the original factory colors?
Also Ihave a question. Your car is one of the last 88 1/2 modeland the last "J" VIN I believe. Could you confirm it was made on 08/1988 or 07/1988? KLA12408 was the 1st K car made on august. I'll appreciate that.

I believe my car was originally white on white. I know nothing to the contrary. June 1988 build. Does that mean that my car is the last non-anniversary Lamborghini Countach manufactured??

it means it is very liklely your car is the last J letter.
there has been a few non anniversary 89 K letter cars as we discussed on the main countach thread.I dont have the data right with me but I beleive there were something like 9 non anniv K cars. But I am pretty sure your is the last "J" Vin 88 1/2 car

    Thank you.

So I asked my dear wife half jokingly if she wanted to go out to dinner in the Countach. She said "Yes!" She had never even sat in it before. So we went for a ride and had dinner at the Hotel Hershey and took a few pics. Car was really wonderful to drive. Here a few pics of tonight.

Is she smiling because she's in the CT or the strong smell of chocolate in the air?

A couple of summers ago I was driving thru there with the wife and little one.

It was 3am, so I decided to take a short break from driving and pulled up near the park.

I quietly turned off my truck and rolled down the windows. My wife was dead asleep but had this huge smile on her face and was licking her lips. About a half hour later she woke up and said what the heck I thought I was dreaming about chocolate. Needless to say we ended up spending the day there. lmao

What CK said: +1. Looking good Jay.

Night driving... Have you done an LED dash bulb upgrade yet?

    Thanks guys.

No, I haven't done the LED dash bulb upgrade yet. It really is impressive how dim the lights are. The dimmer dial dims in the wrong direction. I had no idea how fast, or actually how slow, I was cruising. Not only can you not read it, but what little you can read is in km/hr. My wife and I had fun saying a 5K is like 3.1 miles and 100 km/hr is like 60 mph on the ride home. But it didn't help, still couldn't see it at all. Could see the numerous thumbs up we were given, however. :)

Jay, you'll have to do the LED bulbs upgrade. WOW, what a difference. Here is a quick teaser to show you what you can expect. This is what the difference looked like on my car:

I changed to LED's a couple of weeks ago.

The only bulb that I couldn't use an LED was my turn signal.

Mike is definitely the man when it comes to bulb change data. There are a few threads circulating around with the specifics. LED 194 bulbs, cheap $, 8 of them right Mike?
