    I do not think anyone has taken an f1 transmission out without removing the engine first. I just tried and I may have done something wrong but the clearance is too tight to get it out. Just thought I should let the brotherhood know.

    Forget it figured it out there is an intermediate casing which also needs to be removed then I think it will come out.

    I have seen photos of it done so it can be done you just need to figure out exactly how It comes out.

    I can't believe no one else has had these trannies out before. If I figure it out I will post results.

    plenty have had them out, but if you want a step by step process I haven't seen that yet.

    I guess you could buy a shop manual on ebay.
