So, finally demo'd the garage this weekend. After purchasing my home in October of this year, and the garage acting as a ballast for all the "stuff" not yet placed in the home, I made it down this weekend and cleaned house. I tore the dividing wall out between the two sections, hauled a ton of trash away and added a bunch of lights. The lights are recycled from a local restaurant in the remodel. They are all T12's right now, but my intent is to change them over to T8's as they fail, which one of them had a bad ballast to begin with. Here are some pic's of the before:

Here is the 30 year old gunk on the floor, and the scraper. It was incredibly hard to get off, and I think it will require a pressure washer to clean it up the rest of the way. Also relocated the spare landscaping brick to the other shed, uphill btw.

Next on the list of to do's:
    Paint
floor covering; I'm thinking Adura vinyl, or ceramic. Any suggestions?
    Heat
    work bench
    decor
Electric service. This is really going to be a pain. I'll either have to subfeed from my house, which will be like threading a needle blindfolded, or I'm going to have to set another service and pay another electric bill every month. Not sure yet, but not thrilled either way.

I hope to purchase a 348 or 355 in the next year or two depending on a few things, one of them a wedding in 2 months.

Now thats what I call a super helper. And I love the fact that you didnt cut his ears but left them natural. I have a Dobie also and his ears have not been cut. Got him through Dobie rescue, Am trying to get him to sit in my 348 but he doesnt like cars with out a back seat. Keep us posted on your project. What paint for the floor did you decide on.

I would say a quality floor epoxy, sand the floor etc. Ceramic tile is so damned slippery when wet-oily. If every tile is not totally on a bed of mortal, you run the risk of breaking tile if you use a jack on the floor. At a motorcycle dealership I remember putting a big bike on the center stand, broke the tile. They were not happy.
