    I've always found this odd how senna is idolized and schumacher vilified for doing the similar things.

    You're still surprised by logical inconsistencies.
    I envy you.

    I think this little "incident" will indeed stay with him for a very long time and make his highlight reel. Sometimes F1 can forget much. Other times it never forgets. He's shown his true colors as a cheat, pure & simple IMO.

    Ayrton & Michael were in very different situations; the title on the line. Tends to change perspectives some.

    FWIW, the latest from their toothless leader;

    :confused: ;)

    "We're not going to use team orders, but we'll give them information (presumably to speed up or slow down etc) and *expect* them to be obeyed."

    But that's not team orders!

    Cheers,
    Ian

    Seb seems blithely unconcerned with his legacy. This sort of thing happens when too much success comes too quickly. Applies to the team not just Seb.

    and more of Seb getting raked over the coals, with excellent commentary as to why his move was different than say how a Senna, Schu, or Alonso.

    Although, I'd always thought the team had handled it's success pretty well. Sure, they're a "Johnny come lately" to the party but I like their somewhat laid-back attitude and sense of fun about the whole mess; Some of their press releases and the little magazine they occasionally publish are damn funny.

    Cheers,
    Ian

    He chose to paint himself stupid instead of a liar...at this point the more he says the more he is coming off looking like a stupid liar.

    Bravo!

    I do like that he is unapologetic about winning, I think that's at least a glimmer of salvation.

    +1 My sentiments exactly. It's just laughable and shows character is in question. It's not like he put someone in a wall or a compromising position, that stuff we can understand. This, what he's doing, just shows us he thinks we're all idiots and he doesn't care about his team.

    I've never held their drinks Co. origins against them but their lack of experience shows.
    As far as a sense of fun, well they're no Hesketh.

    +1 and we're getting to the heart of the matter here; I don't think there's any question that their garage is irrevocably broken now. Working against each other rather than together will (hopefully!) set them back more than a little.....

    +1000! ;) "Those were the days!"

    I suspect Bernie would **** if the his Lordship's ilk were to try and return......

    Another good quote from Pitpass;

    I do not look for a demolition derby. I do desire to watch fierce competition. This also could help out our old Scuderia.

    I can't speak for everyone, but personally, when I mention "I want to see Webber punt Vettel into the wall!" I really mean I want them to race each other ruthlessly to the edge and beyond. If that results in a spectacular crash than great entertainment so long as both drivers walk away.

    No, decent human being wants to see another lose life and limb. Lighten up ppl, lighten up.

    It's ridiculous that Watson asked Vettel to apologize to the FANS.

    Give me a freakin' break -- the guy wanted to win over team orders. Is that a crime to the FANS?

    "Gosh fans of F1. I'm so sorry for making that incredible pass on my teammate because I was told not to. Please forgive me!"

    Apologize to the team and his teammate-- ok. Apologize to the fans? Ridiculous.
