Cool to have that signed... I thought you said Mr VB was going to take your car for a drive....... Did that happen? What did he have to say?
Oh yes indeed, its been advertised for sale for at least 3 years, that much is well-known. But the numbers asked suggest something else.
I'll let the pictures tell the story Roy. All I'm going to say he was very pleased with its overall original condition. Notice the smile? Gotti Rims and all. I'm so glad I left it the way it's been since 1984. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice one Bobby! All you really have to do is delete the rear side marker lights. I'm going to remove all the non Euro stuff off mine and give it a paint refresh in those areas only.
Joe, what do you feel the Amari specimen is worth? I personally like the yellow one you showed us a couple of pages ago. I'm not into yellow CT's but man that was a drop dead beautiful specimen. My wife was wondering if that one was for sale? =)
The yellow one is not for sale, but Amari's black one is certainly worth more than most as a low-mileage original car, but only a fraction of what they are asking. Its hard for me to say publicly what its worth without seeing it, but, perhaps when I am in the UK I will go look at it too.
When and where was this? Who is driving? Does not appear to be "Triple X" Is this his car from this past show?
That's my tech David driving it to the trailer. I was busy at the bar right behind where the car was parked entertaining friends. Joe where are you getting all these cool pix? lol
There are a lot of people out there with cameras these days, that pic was by a fellow with the moniker Axertion, lots more are on 1 or 2 photography enthusiast websites. Each week I make it my business to scan around and see what sightings are out there, who, what, where etc.

In the Uk we need an annual test of road worthiness called the MOT. Had my car in for annual service and a few bits needing sorted and MOT in the past week. I got one of friends to drive me to pick up the QV today in his newish 997 GTS. White and very nice to be in. We parked side by side up today at motorway services on the way home for a sandwich. Guess which one had the public wandering about! Whilst the 997 is lovely, rides well and very well built, I still don't think it is as fast as the QV in particular in the mid to top range. I know I am speaking to the converted on here, but just nice to ramble on! Paul
A good friend of mine loves cleaning cars, something i cant abide. Anyway after coming back from a trip to LeMans the car was covered in dead bugs etc and he kindly offered to clean it. The photos show the car having been rubbed down (not a sight for the faint hearted) and an after shot. I was very happy with the result.
