I am actually a little surprised at the change. The initial announcement (for the first four races) had Bahrain using hard & soft.

I guess they're a little nervous about the soft and hence changed to medium.

Lord knows what'll happen when they break out the S/S's!

More than just that. Of the Arab countries this one is fairly Western. Hence my preference over Abu Dhabi.

 

My predictions for Bahrain:

1) Hot!
2) Dry!
3) Dusty! (especially off line!)

 

Apparently, that made it easy for a few folks last year to overtake off circuit =)

You can enjoy a drink at most hotels in the Emirates(minus Sharjah) including Abu Dhabi and the country of Bahrain. Lack of a beer should not keep you away from Yas.

 

I know and that's not my worry. My concern is that Abu Dhabi is allegedly more insistant on married couples only in the hotel room.

 

qualifying and top 3 predictions are easy, I'll predict something unpredictable:

teams likely to score their first points this season in Bahrain

1) Williams
2) Marussia
3) Caterham

Of those teams is seems a certainty williams will score points. Caterham and marussia are so bad
