Hi work has started stripping my 1973 gt engine and we seem to have two different heads!?

    Front head 135c000, 4206570
    Rear head 135c000, 4261132

It appears the front head (4,5,6) is not right for car, does anyone know what this would have been for and is there any 246 heads available?

Is anyone able to help identify the incorrect head on my car? If I know what it's for I have a chance of selling it to fund the right one!

I still have been unable to identify my head, checked it again today and the water inlet is 20mm, not 23mm on the 426 head. Chain guide mounting hole is not cast into 420 head.

The early 206 heads did not have the chain guide. I have attached a PDF of the relevant pages showing the absence of the 206 chain guide and its presence on the 246GT head.
