Does anyone know this 348 ?

Lovely car.
I notice the cam cover gaskets look new. That's a good sign.
Somebody obviously cared enough to do some nice details in the engine compartment by covering exposed bolts with caps.

 

Nice looking car that someone took some time with. All the carbon is not my cup of tea but for the right price it looks like a nice driver.

 

Disagree, looks like a badly detailed engine bay to me. Been a while since any service work, but hey, it's cheap enough to absorb a belt service.

 

Originally from down in South Carolina if I am correct. If so it has been loved. Karl Troy did some work on it. It was owned by Fchatter named Chipbiii IIRC..

 

I'm no expert, but having just got my 348 back yesterday from it's major, my cam covers look a lot cleaner than those do. I agree that engine compartment isn't that well detailed.
BUT that could also mean they drive the car like I do mine.

Price is starting low.. get the records and a PPI and go from there.

I do like the color.

I'm pretty close by if anyone wants a fairly qualified and unbiased opinion. In fact, I'm supposed to go over that way next Wednesday. I will say that Autohaus is a great operation, IMO.

 

And that's what bumped your bid on Ebay, right? ;-)
