My rear is too large for the seats in my 1990 348. I currently sit on a pillow to have any comfort. I'm considering taking the drivers seat apart and bending the side bolsters. However, another option would be to replace the seats. I like the stock look, not aftermarket. Are the 355 seats any wider, flatter, or just more comfortable than the 348 seats? Thanks!

The 355 seats aren't much better. I put 360 seats in mine and love them.

And those fit without any modifications? Spiders?

No, I had to make brackets for them but I was able to fit them without having to move the emergency brake.

So do the 360 seats actually fit the 348 without major modifcations to the tracks/seat mounts? If this is possible, then I would just send a set of old 360's seats to Bradan to redo with the Daytona leather package for a good clean factory seat upgrade solution to my 348.

I have a 1989 348TS so no spiders involved. I stuck with the original seatbelts. I was looking for manual seats at the time but could only find power seats. They sit a little taller but I like the ability to set the seats exactly were I want them.

Like I said, I was able to make brackets that I welded to the seat mounts, with those I was able to use the original mount locations and position the seats closer to the center so I wouldn't have to move the emergency brake location.

I had a 1990 348 for almost 6 years, then drove it to an event that was 300 miles away.
I sold it 2 weeks later. those seats suck.
I bought a 355 that I still own, for now.

These seats are make for skinny F1 driver types, thin guys. I'm lucky, at 5'8" and 155 pounds they fit me perfectly )
