How many people want to see tx246 post and join the fun again?

  1. Yes, we miss him as part of the Dino fratelli.

  2. Yes, but only if he combs his hair.

  3. Yes, if buys beer at Baja Cantina for all of us.

  4. Maybe, but who is tx246?

I think the majority on here are very enthusiastic about Fchat and find it a valuable source of information in repairing these cars from people all over the world who are more than willing to give up their time in assisting others. I honestly dont think i would have kept my Dino for so long had it not been for a few dedicated people on here. Thats why its successful because we have a group of people who do just that and respect someone like you who is putting the time in to give us the platform to do it.

We dont need reminding that you built & own the "factory" but you should be aware it would be empty without the participants.

So lets all live in the building and forget that sometimes people say or do things that they dont really mean but find it difficult to say sorry. A true bloke will say sorry and i am not taking sides on either party has i havent a clue what you are both talking about.

    Cheers and thanks

    Tony

It has nothing to do with Dino section except that Shawn brought it up in the Dino section and a few of you seem determined to keep it here and keep talking about it. I'll keep talking about it as long as you guys keep talking about it.

There is a subtle difference , most are trying to placate and dont really give a rats backside about the argument and who is right / wrong or otherwise.

Then I would say several have been unsuccessful at placating. :)

Jeez, does it really have to keep going on?
Could we just close the post and put a cross (or whatever is your preference) on it?

    This, is really becoming tedious.

I haven't posted in almost 4 hours, yet 3 different users have. Since it appears overwhelmingly the Dino users don't want to move on, Shawn and I have decided to rename the Dino forum after ourselves.

A Kindergarten is too big. You can find smaller ones. Cheap and safe.

I am looking to buy a "Dinoe GTB", just found this site and actually, it's my friend in Tierra Del Fuego that needs it.

He says he wants chairs in it, but not quite sure what that means...

Said something about flares too, but didn't know if they are for highway use or for signaling when in a boat.

Can anyone help? No dealers please...

    Regards, Alberto

Rob, we know that the 206/246 is secretly your favorite even if we might not belong here with the other 'REAL' cars/categories.

This thread has become something odd, but has generated the fun that we had years ago in his section....

I remember walking away from a 72 GTS here in Houston that was advertised as a "Bino" in the chronicle in 1998. Asking was $35k. It was a rough driver with a crap paint job.

    I don't think I ran the market to $350k. I haven't bought anything for over $348,856

Kinda curious as to who wants hair combed or a beer. The poll is closed, and probably for good reason. The combing hair people obviously haven't seen me, otherwise they would have voted about a haircut, but maybe combing hair would be relevant too.

Well, thank you, to both of you (meaning Shawn/tx246 and the Power that Is/Rob Lay), for, um, enlivening things up for a few weeks.

That is easy to figure out, because I set the poll to make the names/fakey-doo names of voters public. Just click on the any of the the numbers shown (like "16") and all of the voters in each category will be displayed. You might be surprised at the voters who are ashamed to admit that they know who you are. ;)
