I would not have chosen that color...but IMO BRG does not looks so bad on the 458...

To each their own I guess.

I think the dark green 458 and bronze FF look great.

Thank God they aren't _all_ painted Rosso Revendita.

I like dark green cars... I do think they work better on Aston Martins and Bentleys better than a Ferrari though... (British Racing)

Brown works in some cases. Lots of older cars look good in brown. I've seen some Porsche adverts recently that have 911's in a nice brown.

Pinks kind of are what they are. It's a cartoon look not meant to be taken seriously. Same goes for temporary "wraps".

To me though... and this is completely my personal opinion... my least favorite color on any car is any shade of yellow. Whenever I see any yellow car on the road I always think to myself what kind of person drives around in a bright yellow car??? I could never do that. Not even in a Lambo.

I get so tired of seeing red on Ferrari's that I don't know when or even if I'll ever own one in red. I get to see enough, why see more of it from the driver's seat.

I, too, like the green. There's a Maser QP in a similar color for sale not far from here that I'd probably go take a peek at if it weren't a 4.2l.

Any pastel is going to be hideous on any car, IMO. But the worst Ferrari I've seen was actually a matte white two-tone 612 with a matte black roof. It's been on Auto Trader forever and the price keeps going down. For some reason, it makes me want to cry.

I don't understand the matte thing at all. Just looks like garbage to me. On anything except for rat rods, which are not my thing at all.

    Cheers,

    George

No, pastels are awesome on Chevys and Cadillacs, especially from the 1940s/50s/60s.

I was at the Wynn hotel yesterday for a Birthday party for my GF and we invited one of her friends. On the way out at the valet you're at the Penske dealership. Her friend wanted to go over and see the cars in the window.

She asked me if all these cars were Ferrari's. I said most but there was a couple of Maserati's there.

She was shocked to see all these cars all lined up. Then she said something really funny because I knew she was not joking:

"These are Ferrari's? I thought they only came in red!" :)

British Racing Green on British cars.

LOL, I'm pretty sure I took that picture. It was about 11 years ago, at, I think, WWoC; it was one of the very first Ferrari events I ever attended. Was that your father's car? I remember seeing a ton of rare Ferraris that day - it was also the first time I ever saw a GTO in person.

The worst color on a Ferrari is the car cover.

I have a similar answer that I always use on these threads.

You know you've owned a lot of Ferraris when you start ordering them in green.

Many of those matte colors are just wrong. Someone once posted photos of his MATTE RED 458 in that section. Hideous.

British racing green 458 doesnt look bad at all IMO. A bit out of place but Id take it over giallo or Rosso Scuderia for example which are surprisingly quite popular choices.

Those type of cars grab enough attention already without the dramatic colors. Ive seen lime green or bright orange Lamborghinis and I personally think it looks good. I guess it all comes down to what you personally like.
