    To be honest with you Jeremy, I would prefer to keep the stock look as much as possible Unless its the REAL MAXI> Not down with the full MAXI front and rear thing...Just my thought.

    I just found this thread, cool. I had the last R5 Turbo 1 from the first series back in the 80's.

    I bought the car wrecked since some chucklehead crashed it on a test drive. Restored it and then built it up to Maxi spec and then some. Bringing it into the 415-425 hp range depending on my A/A and chargecooler setup...

    Fun times..Talk about a flash back..Just one of my group Bs

    It was fun back in 87 that was Riverside before it closed for good...

    Willow was fun also until I shat my pants when I put my left rear in the dirt exiting turn 9 and then thought I was gonna eat the pit wall..
    There is something about a 400+hp flyin brick and desert cross winds that kinda tell ya to stop pushin your luck and stick to the twisties..

    A run would be nice as long as there is no crossin the centerline... I'm recouping from spinal surgery right now but should be good to go next month.

    They had surface rust in certyain spots, right off the delivery truck.

    That's cool you saw then come in new, back then would have been the import shop down on Edmonton trail in Bridgeland, or was it by then one of the Chrysler/AMC dealers?
