    Hi,

I am a new 458 owner and want to get involved in a local driving club and attend some get together etc. There seem to be several to choose from. Which one do you all recommend?

    Thanks, Mitch

They range from coffee drinkers to canyon carvers. Go to a few and choose the one that suits your driving style best.

    Join both FCA and FOC.
Between them there will be many events. You can pick and chose.

Why don't you come to Concorso Ferrari in Pasadena Sunday May 19th. FCA_SW puts on a great event with 150 Ferrari's and plenty of spectators. Its free to the public and if you want to enter your car its only $55!

    Brian-I do miss FDC.
I am still in touch with Jean-Luis and Byron (albeit less and less as time goes on).
Miss these guys and the drives.

    Hi Steve,

Hope this "off topic" post finds you well & happy .............

Mitch (OP), do PM Steve for activity guidance. He's cool, classy, fun and most importantly, a true and honest human being.

Drive your 458 in the best of health.

    Cheers, Hank

Same here Steve - I never had more fun with my car! The drives were awesome, the locations were great, and the company was exquisite. When FDC died (and they moved away) a part of me died, and I became more reclusive with my car.

<sigh> I miss the FDC and all the people that attended.

Hank-thinking about you. Lately have been useing your windshield sun reflector for a non Ferrari parked on the driveway. Works great (little tweaking of the suction mounts).
    Thanks for the nice comments.

Brian and all-Ferrari Club of America (FCA) has been haveing a lot of fun events: JPL visits, mystery drives, picnic concourse in Palos Verdes, Concousre in Pasadena, president's drive to Malibu, Italian night dinner with a drive. A lot of fun events and people.
Just signed up for a "Sideways" overnight trip to wine country, and an overnight to Vandenberg Air Base, and more.

There is pleanty to do. Just have to know where to look and go for it.
