I'm not here to beat a dead horse, however your opinion differs from press statements about the Renault-Nissan Alliance. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI032cGg-6g[/ame]

Very unlikely. Renault know what they are doing in F1 and have for a long time. It is all Renault for RB in F1 but they want to advertise their brand, fair enough.

BTW: Infiniti is sold in Australia too ... amenasce, the world does not end on the borders of the USA, sigh.

All those that are saying that Renault does not have a controlling interest in Infiniti ... please stop posting. Renault and Nissan have the same CEO, thus the CEO has controlling interest in Infiniti ... end of story. He can do what he likes with Renault, Nissan and Infiniti.

The boss of BOTH Renault and Nissan:
All those that love the Nissans have this man to thank for saving the company that was doomed:

    Renault owns ~44% of Nissan.

Infiniti needs a Halo car badly.

Large part of that has to do with the Skyline GTR, which has a somewhat mythical status among many car nuts, especially the variety that love Japanese cars. Badging it as a Infinity won't impress many.

I wish we'd of gotten the NSX as a Honda over here. :(

I guess that is because I know Honda's history in F1, and would much much rather have that badge on my car.(If I owned a NSX)
