    Hi Guys,

The 599 is presenting itself as arguably the best super car for the buck on the market. I have always liked it, but not at a £200k ($300k) price point. Now I am seriously considering one if I can find the right mods at the right price. This is where I could really use some help.

I saw one the other day with a bodykit, all in black with black Hamann wheels.... Amazing Batmobile Look!

I know the wheels were Hamann but I am not sure about the bodykit (car destroyed the tuned Bentley GT I was driving off the line, so didn't see it for too long). If it was all Hamann I would never pay the +30k to hamann for some fibreglass parts and wheels. I also checked out another thread here and I am not sure if the car I saw had the Hamann kit or something else. The front lip on the Hamann looks a bit out of place in the pics and so do the side skirts.

Can you guys please give some guidance and input. I know a bodykit on a 599 isn't for everyone but here in London they are everywhere and I want something different on an all Nero car. Is there a GTO bodykit avilable or something else that you guys would recommend?

    Considering:
    - Capristo Exhaust or SuperSprint
    - Hamann Wheels
    - Lowering the Coilovers or Novitec Springs
    - fibreglass bodykit (carbon fibre too overpriced and not of interest).... Something not OTT but makes the car look more aggressive and sit lower.

    Advice is much appreciated.

    Thanks

While there are multiple options for body kits, none are exactly "cheap".

The factory Aero 2 kit is $46,000 plus tax plus install... you can use that as a base line for pricing..

Here is my 599... I used factory GTO sills, wheels and grill etc... with Novitec springs.

Thanks for your input. Your car looks great!

$46k seems crazy... For carbon fibre it is expensive, but for fibreglass parts, this is hard to crazy.

Here are some pics of cars with kits I like. Someone please tell me there is a more cost effective option for a Batmobile !

Respectfully, I don't see the purpose of mutilating a beautiful 599 like that.
    To each their own...

I would go Vorsteiner kit (all the way, including bonnet + boot), Supersprint headers in titanium (and full exhaust in titanium minus the back boxes), have the '599xx' style exhaust tips done in titanium too.

BBS CHR wheels in 20'' all around, either black or dark titanium, and Ferrari challenge seats inside (in red).

To finish it off I'd put black novitec taillights.

= bad mobile sounding close to a 599xx/GTO (not, as some people claim, a capristo exhaust for example will do. They're only fooling themselves).

I find the Vorsteiner too over the top. I was looking for something that made the car look more agressive and closer to the ground without looking over modified (for lack of a better description).

I don't think the Vorsteiner front and sides are OTT (keep it all colour coded), but the rear diffuser definitely is... How about Vorsteiner front and sides with Novitec rear? Might work nicely?
