    Hmm, last time I have taken lake Hughes rd it was fairly ripped up ? or have they repaved it ?

    I drove Lake Hughes just before I moved out of Los Angeles in May, the road seemed to be in pretty good shape in most parts. Just don't hit the dirt shoulder on the sides.

    Mostly just a gathering, but, we have done some runs up Bouquet and San Franscisquito Canyon road in the past.

    Great news!!!! Www.extremespeedevents.com has given us ONE free Streets of Willow day for ONE lucky person. So, show up at 7pm, we will give you a raffle ticket. We will pick a winner around 8pm. Must be present to win. Good luck.

    Winter is almost over and the forecast for the rest of the week shows a warming trend.

    With that good news, we have decided to start up our Cars and Canyons meet at the Target Shopping Center, 7pm-??? THIS FRIDAY, March 1

    so apparently it didn't go on? came by at 1900. no cars. went to the gym on Via Princessa for an hour. Came back, and still no cars.

    If Via Princessa is a more convenient location for you to meet, I own the center across from Costco and the gym. Love to have a group meet there and I may join you..

    sure! not sure what kind of turnout there would be. i go to the 24 hour fitness there pretty much everyday. friday nights would work best for me..i work early saturday mornings up in the mojave desert.

    how would we organize something? i'm not sure what happened with the cars and canyon thing that was talked about.

    Don't know either. From reading the posts, I thought that the Cars and Canyons was a regular thing. I'm in Sherman Oaks but have the property up there. One in Castaic too if that is a better location. I'm not looking to organize as I wouldn't be up there on a regular basis, but willing to volunteer the parking lot so there wouldn't be any problems with it as a meeting site. At the Princessa property, all of the tenants, except the mini-market are closed by 6 so the parking lot is wide open.

    If you get some interest, let me know.

    Mike, I still have to get in touch with you. My F355 is still down at FastCars, but we should caravan over to this cars and canyons thing on one of these Fridays.
