He's right, even the Pirelli guys said they were too aggressive with their compounds.

He may have a point! but each team has had the same opportunity to design cars that can preserve their tyres, maybe RB missed this. I think he is sore that they got soundly thrashed yesterday.

He has a point but the timing of it sounds like sour grapes.

Tis the same for all, and I can't help thinking would he be saying this if Vet or Web had won.

Quite funny...no podium for 1 race and Mate****s is moaning. If they had won nothing would've been said.

-1 for Red Bull big boy.

Exactly, it's funny the timing of such comment because they didn't win the Premio.

Is the threat for Red Bull to leave F-1 implied?

Does Red Bull need F-1 more than F-1 needs Red Bull?

Starting to sound as though there is a lot of in-fighting at RB.

    Couple of things.....

1-Pirelli was asked to design a tire that would last approx 20 laps, and they did. Maybe a little too aggressive, but they are in that window. Lotus and Ferrari, and for the most part, RB, have figured out the problem involved. MB haven't but they will over time. The one complaint I have is that the tire compositions keep changing every year (now it seems from race to race) so the bogey is constantly moving;not fair to teams that have "broken the code".

2-Most of the guys at RB are whinning bytches; take your chinning like a man.....

It's not that I don't respect their hard work and record, it's the looking at the side of a great F1 car funded by a drink manufacturer which makes me crazy.

The fact the Deiter should say this now that he's on the other end of the stick should surprise no one.
What concerns me more is what's being said behind closed doors at MB. They have to answer to a larger constituency and will not stay around if they continue to be embarrassed.

they need to stop crying. I think the teams need to take a different approach on the tires... Jus tlike Will Buxton mentioned.... drive drive the heck out of the car and roll with it

No fear. Bernie just gave them 1 seat on the FOM board.

Ecclestone has put the brakes on a long-running feud with German car manufacturer Daimler by giving its chief financial officer a seat on the board of Formula 1.

Sour grapes. Ferrari raced yesterday, went balls out each stint. It's the rest of the field that "managed their tires." The rest of the field lost, and they're bitter about it. Too bad, get over it.

Bernie's issues with the German courts may have a little something to do with that.

If their new clout leads to change quickly enough they may stay but they won't take the humiliation for long.

    Hah, maybe........... no

Alonso didn't even push it really. He nabbed a 8-10 second lead and put it in cruise control. Good for Ferrari, well deserved. Red Bull just got beat at BOTH of their own games so that's a major blow (Ferrari, race) (Mercedes, qualifying). And per Alonso they're about to get beat again in Monaco.

Most teams are supported by businesses that have nothing to do with motor racing. Ferrari by a bank, Mclaren by a telephone company, Red Bull by sugary drinks.

Come to think of it, Lotus and Mercedes are one of the few where their title sponsor has something to do with the automotive industry (lotus = cars and Petronas = petroleum).

That said, I can't find myself being exited when Red Bull wins (Although I'm a Vettel fan), I'd be exited if Massa wins, even though I've supported Ferrari for as long as I can remember...Alonso still doesn't do it for me.

Realizing that they´re at the beginning of the end and looking for a good excuse to quit while they are at the top?

Maybe. Although I still think they´re the strongest and will be around here for a while.

They will stay but I dont blame them for making an issue of it. I agree to some extent given that other teams and drivers have said much the same earlier this season. Tires are fine but not when they exert this much influence.

It's not about who sponsors the car but who builds it. Ferraris are built by Ferrari employees. RBs by Red Bull employees. Therein lies the difference and total disconnect from the product to the race car.
