I've seen plenty of 355 wanna be 348s but this one took to the whole different level, the date goes back to 7-4-2008. 348 TB with F355 bodykit | Ferrari For Sale | Page 1 | Owners Forum | Australia
Not a fan, TBH. If you want a 355, go get a 355. This way you loose out on all that great 80's styling and also loose out on the things that make the 355 what it is (on the forum it's on they're asking about fitting power steering for goodness sake ). In the UK a car that had this done looked pretty tidy, but was placed at the bottom of the market well below any other car as far as asking price was concerned, where it sat, so you loose out on resale value too. Just think with a car like this if you try to turn it into something it isn't, you loose out on what it was and never really get to what you're trying to make it. Obviously just my opinion.
He entirely missed the point of the 348. It probably would have been less effort, cheaper, and retained stronger residuals if he had bought a 355 in the first place. He seems to expect more for it because of the "upgrades" when there are probably many people who would pay less because of them. All the best, Andrew.
You're looking at one of them. It's worth whatever a 348 in that condition is worth minus the cost of putting it back again. Again just my opinion but ruined a decent car as far as I'm concerned.
Agreed. I like the idea of some modifications, but they're more in the realm of modernized hoses, updated electrical connectors, a less conservative exhaust, etc... so the idea is that the reliability should be improved, but the performance characteristics should remain very close to those on the day the car rolled off the production line. If I changed any aesthetics at all, I might do CS wheels as they suit the side strakes, but otherwise would stick with the standard 348 wheels. I like the side strakes and rear light strakes exactly as they are. All the best, Andrew.
Can't understand these conversions. Just like the guy who sent tons to make a 360 look like a 430. Why???
I was watching the youtube video clip other night, the Ferrari club of Japan gathered up in the parking lot and saw few of 360 with aftermarket 458 style front bumper, which didn't look that bad at all to tell you the truth, will post it here once I locate the clip url.
