Can anyone recommend a shipping company for shipping a car from Tokyo to US East Coast?
I am looking for a company to pick up the car in Tokyo, steam clean the undercarriage and then pack into a 20 foot container and ship to the US (New York preferred).

Also then looking for an customs broker specializing in cars to handle the import on this end. Car is over 25 years old so no issues with DOT/EPA

    Thanks

Both are freight forwarders so they will do the shipping and customs part for you. You may need to get the car cleaned by a third party but ask them first. Both companies will quote insurance for the shipment. I recommend you contact your own insurance company for a quote...it cost me 17 bucks to insure a ferrari for transit. Quote was 1500ish!

    Best luck!
