I can't remember if I posted this before (and couldn't find it when I searched). I think this is a very cool picture so I don't feel bad re-posting (if in fact I am!). You know, that Countach is just an awesome-looking machine...low and mean. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a black and white version of a photo I posted earlier this year in this thread (and in the original Countach thread). Felt it belongs here as well. Photo by Brian Ach. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for posting this here, and even if it was a repost, it is very welcome. I have already mentioned all the maintenance work that 12670 has received, to bring it current to optimum tune. No more stalling or starting issues. We have also turned back the clock cosmetically, and a number of small things have been rectified. Those goofy door-mirror add-ons have been removed, the leather has been reconditioned as new, and that fire-extinguisher hastily clamped into the front compartment has been removed, replaced by a new one under the driver's seat. IMO it does me no good to have the FE in the front compartment, especially if there is a front-end incident. I always like a FE withing arm's reach in a Lambo . If I'm stupid enough to turn the car upside-down, it'll come in handy helping me to get out! Here is a pic by someone whose initials are RSL from a couple years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I forgot to mention: it also has a nice new period-correct FIAMM battery, all part of trying to turn back the clock to June 1989. It was always a very nice example, but it is really nice now. When Margaret is ready, we will try & capture its current state & share. Meanwhile here is a pic Sandy gave me from when he owned it, from out in front of his house in Redding CA, probably from 10 years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And a couple of sentimental reminders of 12670's past career Sandy passed on. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
