Recently I've built a deluxe version of thish Fujimi kit with included PE-parts. Nice fitting and overall quality of this kit gave me several joyful hours of modelling recommend it to guys who haven't purchased it yet. The color is Official Giallo Triplo Strato by PPG (although I've painted it to thick so the effect is difficult to catch) & 2K clearcoat. Also I've cut out the trunk-lid but was enable to make it movable on completed model. Comments & Critics are welcome! I just bought the Protar 1/12 Scale McLaren MP4/4 driven by Prost to WDC in 85/86... got it on Ebay - partially built - not done well...so this is a tear down & build ... just getting over the flu so other than cleaning and coming up with a plan - not much yet done... Its the one model I've been wanting but hard to find... got a GREAT Deal.$130 for the kit... and from what i can see all the parts are there... what is not I'll scratch build and then do some engine 7 tubing / wiring updates... As I get older I like all the detail - which is really against my normal disposition - usually I'm complelty impatient and dont like the details - I'm a big picuture guy...

If you seek 1/24 scale, nothing compares to the build quality of Tamiya. It's plastic, but goes together impeccably.
Some more pics- white is done - have to polish- next the red... The Marlboro livery is a hard one to paint! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Time to get this back up again....I did this model for the Ferrari Expo 2014. It is based on the Strada 24 Maserati A6GCS 1/24th scale kit. As you can see it really looks like the car. I did add FPPM hand laced wire wheels. By the way, we will do the Ferrari Expo model contest again next year in late March 2015. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more projects I am working on all in 1/24th scale... The Vanwall is VW5 from SPA 1958 in 1/24th scale built from the very nice FPPM resin kit. It still needs its windscreen and the cork on the headrest Tony Brooks liked. The other two are scratch built by me. The Dino 166P will have a full engine and is based on my Scale Designs 166P kit. I will not be producing this as a kit. The 1/24th scale Ferrari 250MM is curbside and has FPPM hand Laced wheels but still needs windows.
