Thought nbc was to air race live? I'm getting local news.
same problem in Houston TX.....NBC Sports showing a guy catching bait fish......instead of the most beautifull F1 race in the world...unbelieable!!
They screwed up the "live" GP2 coverage as well. Set a recording and for the first 25 minutes I could watch the parade in Indy. As a consequence, the recording missed the last 8 laps! Thanks guys, ya jackwagons.
In Florida... Sat down, turned on NBC-sports at scheduled time, and I got the post race show already showing the podium and finishers. In the first second NBCsports ruined the race!
I never trust the TV schedule - I check Formula1.com for all session times. There's a button on the website that lets you convert them to your local time too. Handy for setting the alarm clock. >8^) ER
Sorry dude, that's not NBCs fault. 'Operator error'. That they replay the thing is a step in the right direction IMO.
In Park City, SLC's NBC didn't show I believe. Not on the guide, anyway. Showed as on NBC Sport 8:30 am which was the replay I guess even though it didn't show being on earlier in the guide. So that's what I DVR'd, woke up to watch, turned on from beginning and they're showing the race winner. Ridiculous! I don't believe any of the races has actually started when shown on guide, usually there's half an hour of hockey, IRL or some other BS. I guess I'm going to have to manually record a 6 hour block just to be sure I've got the whole race. Please give me Speed again!
What a disappointment! Same here, sat down to watch the tape delay and see the end of the race. Monaco is my Super Bowl of the year...
Here in Houston: NOTE not operator error on the part of F Chat confused viewers: No confusion. We set set up the DVR exactly as showed on Comcast schedule starting at 9:30. The first 30 minutes of the recording was the end of the race and post race interviews. Then the entire pre-race and race was shown next. What a bunch of complete morons they have working in programming / scheduling at NBC Sports. This ruined the entire race!! NOTE: Comcast owns NBC and NBC Sports.
