Hello guys looking for these wheels for awhile now, everytime i get close something comes up. If you know of a shop/chat member willing to sell these wheels please let me know. [email protected] Thank You Image Unavailable, Please Login
I strongly recommend the 18" wheel seen here. Much larger selection of tires and a better ride as well. http://www.exoticarauto.com/untitled2.html
Those were sold by the now defunct Highline Wheels out of Miami. Lots of threads about them here with very few saying anything good about them. The wheels seemed to be manufactured in China although I've never heard of anyone having problems with the wheels themselves. Highline was another matter. Many burned bridges in the car community and some of the worst ratings I've seen on eBay. They would come back now and then under different names but now seem to be completely gone. The wheels are good looking and too bad a reputable dealer can't bring them back. Anyone know anything current on the wheels?
I have a set of the 19's on my car, from Highline, and the nightmare purchasing experience too. But I love them and I get TONS of compliments on them... even from Bruce who just dissed on them. I don't care where they were made, they've been on my car for 5 years now, and not a single issue. And there's actually no proof or evidence of WHERE they were made. The "made in China" was actually never more than a theory/rumor. The only way I would part with them is if someone traded me a set of 360 modular's straight up, so obviously I expect them to remain on my car indefinitely! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Too bad another (and more reputable) dealer cant pick these wheels up and bring them back to the market. I agree they are the best looking ones for the 348/355. Anyone know how to find who makes these wheels? Any markings on the wheels to help track them down?
I actually still have the fancy brochure from the company, there is no contact or import info in there except for the websites, address, and phone numbers that are no longer valid. But in case you want to do some deep research, here's what the contact info WAS... lol, not necessarily! Those skanks were hired to take pics with the cars... but not by me! You may be able to tell by the expression on my face that I was wishing they get AWAY from my car! I should have never posted that crappy pic, how bout this one here... totally different story!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those Chinese wheels had a lot of quality problems. A 456 owner fitted a set and had to do machine work to get them to fit. No telling what kind of metal they used. Similar to the 575M 19" modular wheels, which are unfortunately very expensive, even used.
No need to pm him.. share the info with all of us. Unless it involves a dark alley and a Rodger Rabbit costume... then count me out.
