Has anyone had experience with XPEL or Rshield coatings for fog lights? Results?? Also how about windshields? Thanks, Bob. 328gtb.
You could use the urethane shield material, cut to fit for your fog light lenses. I'm going to install it on my 840Ci. Decent prices. http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp Where the 308 windshield is concerned, I stay in front of the trucks
I have the Laminex - http://www.lamin-x.com/Automotive-Products-s/47.htm And Griot's seems to be about the same quality - http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/headlight+shield+11+x+17+inch.do?sortby=ourPicks Just make a cardboard template the first time, so you have the shape. I have my 328 fog lights covered, my truck fog lights, and truck headlights. I used two layers on the 328, and made the top layer yellow...just because. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I applied Lamin-X to my fog lights years ago and when carefully trimmed it is almost impossible to tell it is on the light even from 6 inches away.
I just had mine done with a .062" thick film by Winners Window Tint in Rockville MD. They installed mine but said they would ship them out if someone wanted to buy the pre cut film. So far this is the only place I have seen that has the 1/16" thick film with the 328 and TR templates. Image Unavailable, Please Login
