Hats off to all...! Some great points made. For me and my little humble opinion, I would have focused on the car. It looks neat and its low km's and asking price is irrelevant, what he accepts is what counts. My father taught me long ago buyer beware. You can be ripped off by all sorts of people. This guy could be the perfect gentlemen on FChat (like me ) and still be a con man no way of judging him until you meet the man. So look at the car, do your homework and try to get a good deal. No major since 2002 well for sure that’s a big negative for him and a solid bargaining chip for you......one more thing

Well I've just finished reading 'Gone in 60 Seconds' while having my dinner and WOW what a read..... How did I miss this thread to begin with.. some heavy sh*&^t went down in that thread.

As a side note BIGTEX you have some gorgeous friends. Definitely know how to grow them right in Texas.. Make my little Ozie heart skip a beat or two (Especially the cute blonde who seems to pop up more often)

Anyway getting back to the thread...can I ask what ever came of it.. Did 348Tony do a job on his car or not ? Was he able to put in a successful claim or is he in jail now? Is 'probable cause' now living in Brazil?

Hate having a big read without and ending. Bit like watching Star Wars or Lord of the rings....never ends!

I guess now with 348Tony being canned and PC in hiding we will never know !!

Yep. Mine is the one closest to the camera. The black one on the pillow has got it into his head that my pillow is a good spot to sleep - normally he creeps in on a morning, sneaks past my wife and I wake up with him lying next to me on my pillow purring. We've discussed the fact that he doesn't actually live in my house but he seems to be having trouble with that concept. The tabby in the middle also isn't mine but seems to like the company of the other two. I've about given up trying to evict them to be honest.

 

Animals are so funny sometimes you have to wonder what they think of us.

You'd be surprised....most of them here throw in the towel when the word "Ferrari" is mentioned on the phone, unless maybe a specialist collector carrier.

He had some fine cars at one point...a Rolls Royce too, or something?
In a lot of posts he comes off as a normal (for Dallas anyway) guy..

There were actually two (originally) nice 348s, one from a Fchatter's Dad, torn up after a night of cards, then the "lost from my garage" incident....I think that might have been 'girl's gone wild" or something..(strippers took it back to where the night began, then trashed it in revenge??)..lot's more to the story than would meet the eye.

It's all so tiring...the reason mine don't get out much any more....
They get caught up in the lifestyle and bad things happen..

Not kidding though - not my cat. Guess one of my kids put the bear on our bed (not admitting it's mine no matter how many times you ask) and when I walked through the bedroom I saw there was one of the cats that's decided it lives in our house asleep under it. I wouldn't mind so much but this particular moggy ambushed me when I came down stairs the other day. Was laying in wait at the bottom of the stairs, rushed out grabbed my foot then high-tailed it to the cat flap. Almost got her this time - only like the 10th time she's done it........

 

Posting because I'm in Dallas and have met Tony in the flesh. I also know where the black 348 is, and it's gorgeous. That is all.

Don't forget that he posted a thread about spinning the eventual "stolen" Ferrari into a snowbank, was still posting in that thread while going on the "60 Seconds" tirade and NEVER mentioned in the snowplow story the "fact" that his car was missing until called-out about it.
