    Ferrari tax, pure and simple.
You can make up your own set for significantly less.

So it truly is a Ferrari Tax thing?

Not product performance / product properties thing? Are the ends proprietary?

Any 7mm wire + proper ends is acceptable?

Surprised that Kingsborne would pile on so hard.

Watson, got to say a quick scan through some of the aftermarket ones we can get over here you're still looking at a little under £300 for both sets to cover all 8 wires. Seems pricier than most other sets so maybe they are a bit different?

I don't know it 355 plug wires are built like 348 wires, or not. If they are, go up to the "348 DIY" sticky at the top of this page and check the 3rd entry on the 1st page. There's a link to "real cheap spark plug wires". They work perfectly and cost somewhere in the $50.00 range for the whole thing. Hope that helps.

348 and 355 wires are not the same. The connector at the valve covers are very different.

I'm doing the plug wires on the 348 as we speak. I'm going to re use the plastic connectors on both ends. New 20ft of non resister 8mm silicon wire from evilbay, 17 dollars. New copper wire terminal ends from 1800onlineautoparts, 15 dollars. Total under 35 bucks.

I am reviving this thread on account of the invoices for service that I came across with a 355 for sale. Here is the invoice.

Labor is not itemized but the part cost only for plugs, wires and coils total $1423.

I have decided to replace this stuff on my car and am sourcing the parts.

I have found the coils for a little under $100 each and looking for a source for wires.

What have some used and source would be appreciated.

    Thank you

A friend of mine bought a set from kingsborne last year and the car just didn't run right.
He then sent them back and they gave him an oem italian set for the same price.car ran great. The lady did say they where having problems with the after market US ones.
For $100.00 more i would stick with the italian made

I picked up rough running. Ordered a set of Kingsborne & she ran well.

The wires are molded, hence the price.
But if you read the threads, you'll see Kingsborne wires for a 348 at a reasonable price and suddenly Kingborne raised the price.

I did try & track down the Beru connectors. No longer made in Germany but available through an Italian company.
