Sorry if this is a repost, but saw this message on the Steve Harris Imports Facebook page:

"After over 30 years of being a family owned business, we are announcing that Steve Harris Imports is now Garff Imports, now called Ferrari of Salt Lake and Maserati of Salt Lake. Thank you to all of our loyal followers, customers and friends."

Never even been to SHI, but am somewhat sad to see this happen to a family owned business. Hopefully operations will remain the same, as I've heard lots of positive things about SHI.

Hopefully it was just time to retire and the kids weren't up for it.

I've never been there, but I bought my 355 from them in 2010 :)

Sad to see a family business change hands ...but thats life!

I have to agree...I've always enjoyed lurking around on their website. I hope they retain their employees, lots of good people there.

I'm not sure why they sold. Sean is still young enough to keep working and his son worked at the dealership as well. Maybe they were given a great offer. They've done a lot to update the dealership and it looks world class now.

OK, this explains why I saw Randy and Zack working at Pep Boys last week.

I was interviewed at Ken Garff last week and asked about the new purchase. I don't think any of those people working at Steve Harris are going anywhere. It will be known as Ferrari of Salt Lake, but the brand and customer base they have, Garff would be silly to sweep it from under their feet

Am a little disappointed. Sean was the greatest. I bought my 328 from him 10 1/2 yrs ago. And I was planning on calling him anytime now to find me a 360. When I checked the web, the name of the dealership has changed. And I read this thread just now. I don't think I'll ever get the same treatment I got from him from another dealer. (All good things come to an end I guess).

It will still be a good thing. The majority of the staff is still there
