Wish I was there too.............!! I promise myself that I have to go next time if there is any similar gathering in HK again. Once in a life time man!!
i herd there was/is 9 enzos in Hong Kong? is that true?? how can there be so many? in such a small(i think) place?? just wondering?
No need to assume. The fact that there are 9 Enzo's in Hong Kong is substantiated here. As to why there is so much Ferrari bling bling, well, here's (page 3) my $0.02.
There is one simple reason for Hong Kong having so much Ferrari bling, bling. It has the highest concentration of millionaires and billionaires in the world. Ferrari follows the money. And chicks follow Ferraris. LOL. Simple.
Actually, New York City has the highest concentration of billionaires in the world, coming in at 21. Hong Kong has 16 billionaires. This fact is all the more amusing when you consider that there is only one lonesome billionaire in mainland China.
We can turn this into a "Find the Dino" game. I saw a red 246GT and a black 246GTS. Where (what color) is the 3rd Dino? Oh, sorry, but I'm discounting 308GT4s as Dinos.
there is no import duty on cars for HK its a first registration tax which taxes the value of the car unlike before when it taxed the engine capacity. So theres a sliding scale used to tax cars here and its pretty much that the more expensive cars get taxed higher than the lesser ones. it runs like this (in HKD) first 150,000 35% next 150,000 65% next 200,000 85% remainder 100% I think a new 360 here costs 2.3 million HKD? im not 100% sure though which is around 295K USD.
