Does anyone have any experience with the headers for 355 that are renanufactured by these guys and sold in US by Ricambi? My understanding from Ricambi is that all of the pipes are replaced with 304 (?) SS except for the collection tubes and reassembled with original heat shields. The price includes you returning your cores. At 2750 and US shipping the cost is reasonable.
I've had them in my car for like 3 years and 5k+ miles with no issues yet. Sure they don't look as pretty as some aftermarket headers, but the price is right and the factory heatshielding is a bonus. I believe they have a lifetime warranty also.
Does that mean my QV headers purchased from Ricambi are no longer supported? Or will you still support if there is ever an issue?
Yours were purchased in July 2009. Just call me if you have any issues with them. I'll make sure you're o.k.
I'ma big fan also of a "tri-Y" header for a small displacement V8. They have proven to be the hot setup over and over again since the mode 1960's Stock design they hit it on the head
Thank you for the update Dan. FYI, the Ricambi rep the other day is the one that told me they were done by QV London.
