So I picked up an E46 M3 the other day that needs a little interior detailing. I like lexol for all the leather as that is what I have always used on the Ferraris but what should I use on the dash and plastic in this M3? There is no cracking it just looks like it needs to be cleaned.

    Thanks!

Try 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium. I use that on every car I work on and everyone loves the look. Leaves a matte finish, not a super shiney, or greasy look/feel. Protects as well.

X2 on 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium. This stuff was designed for German interiors. I love how it leaves a clean finish and not a shiney or greasy look like the stuff that car dealers put on.

    I agree.

Recently I've used Prima Nero interior stuff. Nice also.

From a owner of a e46 for 10 years, do NOT use lexol on the leather. Nappa leather hates it. Use leatherique products. For dash and vinyl throughout the interior, use a diluted (4:1) water to formula ratio of p21s total auto wash and a scrubbing brush. Natural citrus cleaner will get rid of all the gunk, finish with a wet towel, and after dried, protect with aerospace 303. Designed to protect boat hulls from UV rays, and leaves a clean non nasty non shiny matte factory finish.

    Hope this helps!
