Gang, Summer is here and I need a sun visor, stat. I hate the thought of my beloved Francesca sweating to the oldies in the baking California sun. That said, not much in the FChat Search function on good sun visor options. I saw one "outside the windshield" version but that looked ridiculous. I want a simple inside the windshield visor for my 97 Spider. I googled a few but none were specific to Fcars. Thoughts? Which ones do you Spider owners like? Thanks and happy summer motoring! ketel

Off topic, but when your car has sat in your heat, can the A/C cool the car? I have a black 355 spider with a black interior and if my car sits in even 70 degree heat (Seattle) with the windows up my A/C can't cool the car. Of course taking the top down solves this.
Here are a few, I dont own one yet. I am leaning to covercraft as they been around a while Good luck www.heatshieldstore.com Windshield Heat Shield from Covercraft
First off: When I enter my garage from the house any time after the month of May the ambient temp is around 110+ degrees so my triple black 348 spider is pretty warm inside. After I go through the required warm up process and turn on the AC the car is comfortable within 30 - 40 sec. and while driving in direct sun light stays very comfortable. I recently had the 30k major done with less than 5k on the odometer and as part of this service the AC was charged and was blowing a very respectable 53 degrees! this might reflect the limited usage of the system over the years. At our last local Cars & Coffee she sat in the direct sunlight for 2 hours with the top up and windows down. When I drove off it was 93 degrees outside and again she blow cold air and I was very comfortable on the 10 mile drive home. Bare in mind the AC has to remain on to keep the car cool at these high temps and I generally never park her in direct sunlight if I can help it. While I am no mechanic!! I would probably have your system checked. Stay cool....
I think you are right. As my next major is this coming Jan. it will get checked for sure. but it has only been 3.5 years since the last one, so I'd be surprised if the coolant leaked that much, but as they say "It's a Ferrari, what could go wrong?" )
Ironically it was a very slow coolest leak in my car that caused the AC to need the attention it got during the last major. The $200.00 I spent during the major service to recharge the system made ALL the diference.. As you proberbly don't have anything like the high heat we experience here in AZ you will proberbly notice a huge improvement. Good luck...
