I did a sound analysis on the sound track and although this does not tell me what the cause is I can describe some characteristics:
The FFT and TFFT shows that the sounds are not regular and do not change frequency with rpm. In other words these sounds appear not to be mechanically connected to timing events of the motor internals. Rather they appear during ranges of rpm and change suggesting that the pinging theory or another random type thing is at play. I don't know if further analysis would be any more helpful but I will take another look when not about to fall asleep.

    Neat, that would be great.

Another test you can perform is adding some Toluene to your tank to increase the octane rating. If it's pinging, that may help. Toluene is what most oil companies use to increase octane level

That is too bad. Time to pull out a compression gauge and determine which cylinder. Definitely needs to come apart once determined which cylinder(s) at fault. Detonation could destroy a valve....don't know about a head gasket. In any case, no more driving till fixed.

Yes. Detonation can blow out the head gasket. It can also destroy the pistons and/or rings. Smoke looks white which would indicate coolant. If it is blue, then oil in there too. Might have both if you blew out a cylinder. Milky oil is never good.

Next step is definitely a compression test.

Very sorry to hear about your trouble. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear this. Head gaskets can sometimes fail. It will run better than new when done.

If the oil level is showing as high it's probably because there's water in there. Don't run it any more as the oil & water mix won't protect your bearings properly. It sounds like you've blown the head gasket, though piston damage is pretty common when you have serious detonation like that.

Sorry to hear of your problems, sounds like you ought to be having a serious chat with the place that serviced it and said the timing was correct...

Was the sound there before you took it to your mechanic?

i thought the metall sound was not when i brought the car to my mechanic. But the car was not long in my hand at this point. i bught it last year and i did all the service first. I allready spent over 12500 euro in service and new parts but i am not sure if i should blow more money with this car...

If you have a solid shop do the rebuild, you will end up with a very reliable motor/car based on the research I've done. I would also consider a switch to electronic timing. That way you always know the timing is accurate and there is no wear/adjustment to deal with from the distributors.

    Really sucks; sorry again.

I don't know why I didn't ask this before, but what heat range plug did your mechanic install? Too hot and it can surely detonate.
