Dear fellow Ferrari enthusiasts, I have to admit that Im more of a reader than a writer on this forum but the past week and a half has been an experience worth sharing. Since last year my father and me decided to do a yearly road trip through Europe. This year we decided to buy a Gopro and film as much of our trip as we can. I therefore thought it would be a nice idea to share this video with you all. We drove a 458 italia and a California for almost 4000 km passing through Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and all the way back to the Netherlands. I also want to give a massive thanks to my father for trusting me with these cars and giving me an opportunity that only very few people of my age are able to have and would like to lay emphasis on my upmost appreciation for the week of a life time. Enjoy the video! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8AyqcWzfLQ&feature]Ferrari Tour 2013 - YouTube[/ame]
That is definitely a cool road trip...!! And to top it off a father and son bonding trip too....!! Thanks for sharing . Best, Wang
Well done. Nice video. A father and a son together on a great ride. Always very nice to hear about! Congrats for the cars and for the great father you have. BTW, how many tickets did you and your father collect?
Looks like your video could be used by the band of the song you used. Great trip and an even better chance to spend time with your dad with his Ferrari's driven the way they were meant to be driven!!!
It was indeed a great ride! Ehm about the tickets, we are expecting about 1 or 2 from Switzerland (those are the ones that do hurt a little with their prices) and maybe one from Germany during road works.. Funny story actually when filling up the cars we always paid for both cars on one bill. But in Germany my dad accidentally told the cashier the wrong number of the pump.. Next thing German police cars with sirence and everything asked us to follow them.. But after explaining that its all a mis understanding it was all ok. Lets be honest whoever steals petrol isn't the brightest but who ever would do it with two bright red ferraris a would take it to a whole nother level! The trip was almost 4000 km long and involved route de napoleon in France, Italian highways and the beatifulTuscan hills!
Thanks, sorry I was not clear, but just curious how many days (weeks) were you and your dad on this fantastic trip?
Ow sorry I misunderstood haha we started on Sunday and arrived back Monday the week after so a good 8 days of driving
Did you have the cars shipped or does your Dad have a place there where he stores them? If you did ship how much and who did you use? Also did you need special insurance for Europe? Thanks in advance.
